GrapeFest 2021

GrapeFest is back and Rotary stepped up to make sure all of the visitors in town were well hydrated! Thanks to all Rotarians who volunteered and helped make the Rotary Beer Booth a success.

Feed Our Kids

July 3rd: Grapevine Rotary Club provided meals for these past 5 days for “Feed Our Kids” at 121 Community Church parking lot.

“Feed Our Kids” makes a difference to so many in our community. “Service Above Self”; thank you to all that volunteered…..

Grapevine Outreach Center

On June 21st, members of the Grapevine Rotary Club attended a ribbon cutting at the Grapevine Outreach Center. The club utilized a Rotary District Grant for improvements at the outdoor area at the Outreach Center, including new picnic tables, new turf, and a weather-protected play area. The project was a community collaboration with the Grapevine Police Department, Grapevine Department of Parks and Recreation, and Classic Chevrolet.

The Outreach Center Thursday night ESL group enjoys a pot luck dinner at their new picnic tables.

Main Street Fest

Once again, Grapevine Rotarians step up and do the work.....and it was a lot of work! Main Street Fest was busy from the moment it opened until we closed it down at 8:00 pm. Service above self ......and a few laughs along the way!

Scholarships

We celebrated the amazing students that the Grapevine Rotary Club awarded scholarships to. What a great group of young people, and hopefully future Rotarians who live a life of “service above self”. A huge thank you to Jennifer Stubbeman and her scholarship team...... September 9th at the REC of Grapevine will be our 4th Annual Grapevine Rotary Rubber Duck Race which raises the $$ to continue to support giving scholarships to deserving students...

6 Stones Community Powered Revitalization (CPR)

Thank you Paul, Rory, Kevin Mi, Ira, Harvey, Duff, Ana, Sheli, Bruno, and Darlene. We had fun and did something good for someone in our community. Ana and Rory even did cartwheels during our break.

Flag Duty

The Grapevine Rotary Club put out flags on Saturday, April 24th to show our support for the opening of Main Street Station. Thanks to all that came out and helped put out flags on this very special day!

6 Stones CPR

Grapevine Rotarians worked really hard and accomplished a lot by helping folks in our community. Thank you to 6 Stones for all you do to set CPR up, thank you to the site captains that keep us on track and thank you to the rotarians and their friends who came out to make a difference in people lives in our community.

2020 Duck Race a Quacking success

The 3rd Annual Grapevine Rotary Duck Race was a success! Rested and ready to race, 2,800 ducks raced in the lazy river at the Rec of Grapevine hoping to be the first duck to cross the finish line.....This year for the first time, Grapevine Rotary ducks also visited many yards in our community to share their excitement!

A big thank you to our main sponsors, Five Star Subaru and Republic Services, and the many donors and adopters who helped the Grapevine Rotary Club raise over $29,000 to provide scholarships to area graduating high school seniors.

Ducks are relaxing now and getting ready for the 4th Annual Grapevine Rotary Duck Race-2021.....Quack Quack!
